The 2017-18 season is 26th season of Manchester United in the Premier League and its 43rd consecutive season in the top of English football. The club will participate in the Premier League, the FA Cup, the EFL Cup (as holders), the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Super Cup.

The season will be the first since 2003-2004 without former club captain Wayne Rooney. He joined Everton after 13 seasons with United, overtaking Bobby Charlton as the top scorer of all time. United returned to the Champions League after a one-year absence after winning the UEFA Europa League 2016-17.
